This presentation provides the learner with tools to support patients and their caregivers during the advanced and end stages of disease through end of life.
In this presentation the five common symptoms experienced by patients at end of life and basic management steps are discussed. After you’ve completed the activity the learner should be able to name the most common symptoms, how they affect quality of life, and basic management strategies, including medication management.
