We’ve come a long way!

Since 2004—and with YOUR help—Hospice of Southern Maine has cared for more than 25,000 people and their families, at home and Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. We have come a long way and the impact is clear. In 2004, Maine ranked 49th in the country for hospice usage —today we are 9th. Every day, more people are choosing hospice and experiencing its benefits.

There is still more to do!

This year, we have our sights set on the next 20 years with a special campaign to raise funds for operations and much-needed safety and comfort improvements at Gosnell. Highlights of the project include:

  • Replacing worn carpets, handrails, and bedrails

  • Adding an awning to shade the patio

  • Energy-efficient lighting

  • Upgrading the Wifi infrastructure

  • Fresh paint and new wayfinding signs

Your support makes this possible.
